About the Hunt

Subscription Rates for Season 2009/10

Hunting Days

Wednesdays, Saturdays and Bye Days

The following are now due and should be sent to:

A. SUBSCRIPTIONS (per person)

25 years and over Full subscription all inclusive £1300
18 to 24 years Full subscription all inclusive £375
Under 18 years Full subscription all inclusive £260

Those not hunting before January 1 2010, half the above rates apply

1 person 10-day ticket all-inclusive - Saturdays: £650
1 person 10-day ticket all-inclusive - Wednesdays: £475

B. SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS

Special arrangements can be made with the Secretaries prior to the meet for:

Parents accompanying a child on a lead rein

Full-time yard grooms working within our country, per day £30

Newcomers to hunting: 1 day’s hunting allowed £40

C. CAPS (all inclusive per person)

Maximum of 4 days allowed – then the balance of subscription becomes due:

The subscription rules apply to all mounted followers of the hunt other than bona fide farmers, i.e. those who derive their living solely from farming within our country and allow the hunt access over their land.

Please note that our discount rates do not apply to Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve (these are charged at the Saturday Rate)

D. PUPPY WALKERS

Subscribing Puppy Walkers £950 (all inclusive)

E. COUNTRYSIDE ALLIANCE

Membership of the Countryside Alliance is compulsory if you wish to ride mounted with the CL&C Hunt.

F. QUAD BIKES

Quad bikes will only be allowed to follow by permission of the Masters. Where permission is granted, they may only carry the number of persons they are designed for and all riders must wear suitable protective headgear.

G. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

The CL&C Hunt does not hold itself responsible for any accident which may occur to any persons, their horses or property in connection with or arising out of the activities of the hunt.

It is a requirement that each person who takes part in any hunt activity shall indemnify the hunt company against any legal action that may arise from any such incident and have appropriate third party insurance.

H. RECIPROCAL ARRANGEMENTS

Full adult subscribers may hunt with our neighbours the Surrey Union, the Crawley and Horsham and the Old Surrey, Burstow and West Kent for half their day cap. Please phone the relevant secretaries for further details in good time before your visit.
