Ducklings Ball 28th March 2009

The Ducklings this year was amazing; it’s a great party because, since it’s local you know almost everyone there – so basically it’s a party with all your friends.   I invited along 12 school friends and we started with a meal at Prezzo.  We were first to arrive, typical of my parents, so by the time everyone else had arrived we were already slightly out of breath. The music as usual was great and as well as the popular songs we had to have some cheesy old favourites too.  One of the highlights was the strobe lighting, smoke and bubble machines which really helped with the atmosphere.

Of course the Ducklings wouldn’t have been complete without the fabulous cocktail bar.  The most popular being the Hunting Pink consisting of lemonade with a shot of grenadine in a beautifully decorated glass (with obligatory umbrella) Of course DJ Chris had a collection of lollies and wore a cowboy hat which we all took turns to wear for most of the night.  To make things even better there was a stack of 85 Easter eggs for us to take as we left.  We all really enjoyed the evening.
