Photographs at Arden and Anstruther

Two photographers the CL&C knows well - and another  with a strong association to us - have work in an mixed exhibition of Sussex photographers at the Arden and Anstruther gallery in Petworth.  Our good friend Colin Barker has some non-hunting but characteristically atmospheric black-and-white prints on view;  while Louise Harber's portrait of Sage, the by-now-iconic 'Dawn of a New Era'  looks outstanding here (she has others too).  The third photographer with a CL&C connection and represented by two huge colour photographs is Henry Bourne.  He is well known for his portraits for Vogue and interior shots for House & Garden and World of Interiors.  He is also son-in-law and brother-in-law to Susan Anstruther and Sebastian Anstruther respectively.  There are quite a few ponies and horses grazing chez Bourne, we noticed on a recent visit.  Very encouraging.  It's never too late to learn to ride, Henry!
